Belding Banner-News, 26 Nov 1964

William L. Covert 87, of Pasadena, Calif., former long-time resident of Belding
died November 22 at his home.  The Coverts left Belding in 1919.  He was born in
Keene township, Ionia county.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Marguerite Steinberger,
Carpenteria, Calif., Catherine Anderson, Pasadena; four grandsons; three
great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  

Mr. and Mrs. Covert visited in Michigan in 1955 with her sisters, the late
Carrie Hammontree and Margaret Cilley of Belding.
