Martin B. Covey, 75, of 7441 Johnson Road ,Belding, died Saturday at Butterworth
Hospital, Grand Rapids, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was
born Oct. 4, 1915, in Traverse City, the son of Almon and Lena Aldrich Covey. 
He was graduated from Belding High School in 1934, and was a member of the
Church of Christ of Belding.  He retired in 1978 after 29 years as a tool crib
attendant at Gibson’s factory, Greenville.

Surviving is a brother-in-law, Robert Baird of Hawley, Pa., a nephew and a
niece.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Almon Jr., in 1925, and a sister,
Marian, in 1990.  Cremation has taken place.  Graveside services at River Ridge
Cemetery are to be announced by Johnson Funeral Home, 
Belding.
