Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 May 1944

Funeral services for Edgar J. Cowan, who died January 23, in St. Petersburg,
Fla., will arrive in Grand Rapids this week and funeral services will be held
Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Metcalf funeral chapel, Grand Rapids. 
Burial will be in Tuttle cemetery, Ionia.

Mr. Cowan is survived by a brother, Elmer Cowan, of Ionia and a sister Mrs. John
McKendry, of Easton.  Pallbearers will be Harold McKendry, Allen McKendry, Edgar
McKendry, Elmer McKendry, Royce McKendry and Edwin Yeomans, jr.
