Paul Edward Cowels, 83, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Clarksville, Ionia 
County, Mich., died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 in Leesburg, Fla. Paul was born on 
April 18, 1929 in Doster, Mich., the son of George and Lila (Munger) Cowles.

Paul was a self-made, professionally accomplished business man who traveled 
extensively throughout his life, living mainly in Michigan and Florida spending 
as much time as he could near the water, fishing and hunting. 

Paul is survived by his daughters, Paula Anderson of Fla., Elaine Heddings of 
Va., Diane Tyree of Va., and Nancy and son-in-law, John Costanza of U.S.V.I.; 
10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and many loyal and devoted friends.

It was his express wish that he be allowed to be interred in peace and continue 
to be allowed to remain in peace in his final resting place. 

He loved his family and friends and will be missed.
