Excerpts from Greenville Obituary
Glenna Marie Cowles of Belding
Died Wednesday, November 4, 2020-age 91 at Greenville.
Born May 30, 1929, daughter of George Austin"Doc" & Marie M. (Hall) Godfrey.
Married June 24, 1950 to Charles Richard Cowles.
Raised two daughters in her 47 years of marriage.
Husband Charles died 1997. Also preceded in death by her parents, daughter 
Eisabeth "Betsi" Riva in 2016; a granddaughter, Sarah Marie Gregory; 
brother,Ronal L. Godfrey in 2006; a sister-in-law, Linda Godfrey in 2009.
Graduated Greenville High school.
Was Secretary at United Methodist church in Belding.
Surviving are daughter, Cynthia Marie Stewart of Belding, a grandson, 
Christopher Steward of Belding; two brothers, Dick & Nora Godfrey and Gilbert 
Godfrey of Greenville many nieces & nephews.
Burial Saturday Nov. 7, 2020 at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
Funeral arrangements by Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 
Greenville.
