ROSS CHARLES COX, 92
Age 92, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

He was born on March 10, 1926, the son of Benjamin and Jessie Cox. Ross was a proud
veteran of the U. S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed woodworking, farming and 
tending his garden and yard. He worked for the Ionia Co. Road Commission for many
years retiring in 1989.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Gerald and Stewart; sisters Doris
Garra and Elna Sprague.

Surviving are his children; Ross Cox. Jr. (Cindy Salas), Warren Wrisley and Jean
James; Granddaughter, Beth (Fred) Moore and grandson, Eric Salas; great-grandchildren Jason
Schwab, Melany (Cody Redman) Schwab; great-great-grandsons Zander Redman and Eric 
Adrien Salas; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7 at Tuttle Cemetery with
Pastor Kenneth Harger presiding. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Saturday at the Lehman Funeral home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Military honors will be provided by the
V.F.W. David Huhn Post. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Church in memory of
