JAMES CLARK COX
Died October 7, 2016-of Portland-age 77, after a lengthy battle with Cancer. 
Born July, 1, 1939 in Mason son of James W. and Lucile (Wagner) Cox.
He grew up in Ingham Co and Jackson, Tennessee.
James worked at Diamond Reo as material Control General Foreman. Then Parts
warehouse and store manager in Reno, Nevada & Lake Tahoe, Calif.,
Retired in 1996 after 16 years as Maintenance Manager for C.A.T.A.
For years coached Little league football in Grand ledge 
Married Susan E. Tope on February 18, 1972 and had one son, Robert C. Cox
Survived by his wife Susan of 44 years; son Robert (Chastity) Cox; grandchildren,
step-grandchildren. Also his 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren of his
former marriage, brother Tom, and sister-in-law.
Preceded in death by his parents, 1 grandson, 2 brothers, father & mother-in-law,
Clarence & Mildred (Barnes) Tope. 
Jim requested no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton County 
Palliative Care Facility, Charlotte,MI. Arrangement by Lehman Funeral Homes. Online
