Lake Odessa Wave-Times February 25, 1932

A FORMER RESIDENT BROUGHT HERE FRI.
The body of Mrs.Effie Cox of Detroit was brought here for burial.

The funeral was held at the Wortley Funeral Home here. Rev. Fay C.Wing of 
Woodland preached the sermon. Mrs Bessie Woodman and Mrs Stella Kelsey of Coats 
Grove accompanied by Miss Woodman sang.

Mrs.Cox lived at Lake Odessa years ago, she was an aunt of Mrs Maud Capron of 
Lake Odessa and Mrs. Inez Forman of Woodland. She leaves a son and daughter in 
Grand Rapids.
