The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, February 3, 1965


Funeral service for Benjamin Cox, 94, of route two Ionia who died Saturday 
evening, was Tuesday afternoon with burial at Tuttle cemetery.  He is survived 
by two daughters, Mrs. Howard Sprague of Ionia and Mrs. Clark Garra of Royal 
Oak; three sons, Stuart Cox of Ypsilanti, and Gerald and Ross Cox of Ionia.  
His wife Jessie died in January 1964.

Bearers were Theodore Lehman, Lloyd Snyder, Ray Andrews, John Higbee, Bruce 
Higbee and Francis Listerman.

Attending form out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Clark Garra of Royal Oak, Stuart 
Cox of Ypsilanti, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Noffke of Lowell, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne 
Chamberlain of Howell and Clayton Reid of Sidney.
