He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Job Cox, was 28 years old, born in Ionia county, unmarried. He was a young man of exceptionally good character, and of a genial disposition that attached to him a wide circle of friends, who deeply sorrow over his untimely death. He went to Ann Arbor for operation in March, without permanent benefit; the disease, sarcoma, was fatal from the first. Besides his parents, he leaves four brothers and three sisters: Jennie, wife of D.F. Wheeler, Whitehall, Mont; Thomas and Benjamin, Ionia township; Anna, wife of G.C. Dow, Boyne City, Mich.; Fred, Grand Rapids; Miss Huldah, at home, and Albert W., Portland. The funeral service will be held at the home, on Sunday, at 2:30 sun time. Interment, Highland Park.
