The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 9, 1934

Funeral service swill be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the 
Methodist church in Mason for Rodney Coy, 74 years of age, whose death 
occurred Thursday at the home of his only son, Paul Coy, in Ionia.  The body 
will lie in state at the church from 1:30 to 2:30 o’clock Saturday.  The 
Masonic order of Masons will conduct their burial service.  Interment at the 
Mason cemetery.
