Ionia County News, 25 Apr 1957

Mrs. Sophia (Jennie) Coyle, 93, died Wednesday, April 17, at the Taylor
Convalescent Home.  She formerly lived in Belding.  She was born in Campbell
Steuben County, New York, on April 7, 1864, the daughter of Jonathan and
Catherine Smith.  After her marriage to Phillip Coyle, they moved to Detroit. 
Her husband and two sons preceded her in death.  She is survived by one
sister-in-law, Mrs. Byron L. Smith, of Ionia, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held Saturday, April 20, at 2:00 p.m. from the
Stone-Kauffman Funeral Home.  Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiated and interment was
in the Highland Park Cemetery.  Pallbearers were: Wayne Roush, John Hall, James
Raymond, Ralph Raymond, Gordon Sargeant and Terry Wood.
