Richard N. Craig, 52, of Clarksville died Tuesday in Kent Community Hospital,
Grand Rapids.  He was born Dec. 8, 1929, in Woodfield, Ohio, the son of Alonzo
and Grace North Craig.  They moved to Clarksville in 1945 and he was married to
Elizabeth Blocker Sept 18, 1950.

He was employed at GM for 10 years and was a carpenter in the Clarksville area
for 20 years, and was head of maintenance for EBI Breakthru until ill health
forced his retirement in June 1981.  He was a member of the Clarksville Bible
Church.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, two sons, James of Clarksville and Alan of
Lowell, and two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Pamela) Barrington Jr. of Lowell and
Mrs. John (Patricia) Austin of Clarksville.  Seven grandchildren and two
brothers, Ralph of Clarksville and Eugene of Alto also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Clarksville Bible
Church, The Revs Elwood Norton and Myron Gross officiating.  Burial will be in
Clarksville Cemetery.  A memorial has been established for Clarksville Bible
Church.  The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
