Wave, Thursday, May 28, 1970 Services Held for James H. Cramer Memorial services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock for James H. Cramer, 92, a former resident of Woodland, at Woodland Memorial Park. These services were conducted by Rev. Ronald Hoffman, pastor of Kilpatrick UB Church. Mr. Cramer was born in Woodland in 1878 and was a member of the firs graduating class. His parents were William and Cassie Cramer. Most of his life was spent in Marmarth, N.D., a pioneer town on the new Milwaukee Railroad, and Blaine, Wash., where he owned and published the Blaine Journal. Mr. Cramer attended the United Church of Christ in Blaine. His first wife the former Ava Leonard, also of Woodland, preceded him in death in 1956. Upon retirement he moved to Bellingham, Wash. Through the years he visited and corresponded with relatives and friends in this area. Surviving are the widow, Helen of Bellingham; a son, Mercabe of Alhambra, Calif.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
