The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. M. Y. Gephart were greatly shocked on 
Saturday last to learn that their daughter, Mrs. Roy D. Cramer of Lansing had 
passed to rest after a short illness.  Mrs. Cramer was well and favorable 
known in this city and a host of friends will miss her from her occasional 
visits to the parental home.

Eleanor A. Gephart was born in Mecosta county, Michigan July 25th, 1884 where 
she resided until thirteen years ago when she moved with them to Belding.  In 
1902 she united with the Congregational church in this city and has since 
lived a pure Christian life, in accordance with her belief.

On March 7th, 1906 she was united in marriage to Roy D. Cramer of Fenton, 
Michigan and the following year the happy couple moved to Lansing, where they 
have since resided.  Mrs. Cramer passed away at her late home in Lansing on 
Saturday, November 9, 1912, in the twenty-ninth year of her age.

She leaves to mourn her departure a loving husband, two children, Michael 
LaVern aged four years and Marion Eleanor aged two weeks. Her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. M. Y. Gephart of this city; two brothers, Adolphus of Lansing and 
Lawrence of this city; and one sister, Mr. C. W. Brakeman of Detroit, besides 
a host of loving friends who will miss her kind and loving presence.

Following a prayer at the home in Lansing the remains were brought to this 
city on Monday for interment.  Funeral services were held at the home of her 
parents Tuesday morning and the body was laid to rest in Riverside cemetery.  
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Edrie Collins of the 
Congregational church.
