MUIR - Eugene A. Crampton, 54, of 140 Higbee St., Lyons, died Saturday, 
December 5, 1992.

Mr. Crampton was born July 8, 1938, in Palo, the son of Gibson and Mable 
Wright Crampton.  He was a retired truck driver, a graduate of Carson City 
High School, and served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a post commander of Lyons-
Muir VFW and a member of Carson City American Legion.

Surviving are Jan Hines Crampton; a son; three stepsons; three stepdaughters; 
two sisters and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hull Memborial Chapel, Muir.  
Interment will be in Palo Cemetery.
