SHERIDAN - Mable L. Crampton, 82, of 11489 S. Senator Road, Hubbardston, died 
Monday, Setp. 23, 1991, at Metropolitan Hospital, Grand Rapids.

She was born Jan. 7, 1909, in Montcalm County, the daughter of Roy and 
Margaret Harrigan Wright.

Mrs. Crampton had been a longtime resident of Bloomer Township.  She was a 
member of VFW Auxiliary 5065 of Sheridan and Carson City American Legion 
Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gibson Crampton, a son, Gordon 
Crampton and daughter, Greta Crampton.

Surviving are two daughters and their husbands; a son and his wife; a sister; 
12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home, 
Sheridan, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger.  Interment is in Palo Cemetery.
