Sentinel-Standard - Monday Feb. 11, 1968

James H. Crandall, Jr. 85, of 1027 Willoughby road, Lansing passed away at the 
Ingham County Medical hospital Saturday evening. He had been ill seven months.

Mr. Crandall, a retired stationary engineer, was born April 27, 182 at 
Blanchard the son of James H. and Jennie Perry Crandall and lived for a time as 
a young man in Limerick school district north of Lake Odessa. He had lived the 
past five years in Lansing, coming from Cleveland, Ohio where he had been 
employed 30 years.

He was a member of IOOF lodge in Lansing.

Survivors include one son, James III of Lansing; one sister, Mrs. Frank Groh of 
Cleveland; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa Tuesday 
evening at 7:30 with Rev. Wilbur Williams officiating. Burial in Lakeside 
cemetery.
