William H. Crandall, 89, died Sunday morning at the home of his son Arthur, 
route one, Muir.  Mr. Crandall was born December 13, 1869 near Muir, the son 
of Mr. and Mrs. William Crandall.  He was married January 26, 1893 to Jennie 
Halstead.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie; one son, Arthur Crandall; two daughters, 
Mrs. Margorie Sheaffer of Muir and Mrs. Bernice Stewart of Pontiac; 10 
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett funeral home 
in Muir.  The Rev. Raymond Bittner will officiate and burial will be in East 
Plains cemetery.  Bearers will be Howard, Philip, Max, Marvin and Verle 
Sheaffer and Duane Stewart.
