Two funeral processions from Grand Rapids found their way to the Muir cemetery
Saturday.  The first was the one bringing the body of Charles Crandell, who died
at his home there after an illness of several months of a complication of
troubles.  For many years Mr. Crandell lived on the place which is now owned by
his brother, William Crandell, northeast of Muir.  He is survived by his widow,
two sons, Earl and Bert, both of Grand Rapids, and three brothers and one
sister, Giles of Grand Rapids; William, of Muir; Hiram, of Ionia, and Mrs. James
Ludwick, of Muir.
