Sentinel Standard – Wednesday, 19 April 1922
Funeral services were held here under Masonic auspices for Dr. Marian Crane, 
79, with burial in Lake Odessa cemetery.  He had practiced medicine here for 
more than 45 years.  Death followed a stroke of paralysis.  Dr. Crane came 
here from Saranac in 1872.  A son, Dr. Charles V. Crane of Grand Rapids 
survives.
