Chester A. Crane, 53, of Saranac, died at the St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, 
Tuesday, December 31.  In September, 1908, he married Miss Mary E. Otis, of 
Saranac and he leaves besides his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Jane Walker, who is 
ill at the hospital in Lansing and a son Philip, a brother and sister of 
Lansing; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Carl Crane, of Battle Creed, who resided in 
Saranac with Mr. and Mrs. Crane.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o’clock at St. Mary’s church 
in Saranac and burial at the family lot at the Saranac cemetery.
