Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 8 Jan 1935

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home of Mrs. 
Walter Dunlap, Ionia township, for Mrs. Lena Crane who died Friday night 
following a long illness.  Rev. M.L. Whittemore, of the Lyons Methodist church 
conducted the services and bearers were four nephews, Donald Cobb, Ernest 
Wright, Ray Harper and Harold Harper.  Music was rendered by Mrs. Thane 
Benedict and Mrs. Ray Colwell.

Besides the many friends and relatives from Ionia township, Lyons and Muir, 
attending the services were Donald Cobb and Miss Ruth Harper, of Lansing; Mr. 
and Mrs. Theron Crane of Edmore; Maurice Crane, of Sterling; Mr. and Mrs. 
George Storey and Mr. and Mrs. LaVine Hunter, of Lowell; Mrs. Amy Stebbins, 
Harold Stebbins, Russell Stebbins, Mrs. Loveda Hunter and Mr. and Mrs. William 
Stebbins of Saranac.
