Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 11 Oct 1921

Miss Elsie M. Crane died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Crane at
Portland Saturday night, of brain tumor.  The burial was held at the Clinton
cemetery.  She was 22 years of age and was considering an offer to teach at Lake
Odessa this year when she was taken ill.
