Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Nov. 18, 1932

Mrs. Minnie Crane, 62, of Portland, widow of Charles L. Crane, died in Portland 
Thursday morning. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 9:30. 
The body will be taken to Clinton the former home for burial. 

She was a native of Virginia, coming to Michigan at the age of four years, and 
she lived in Portland 23 years. She is survived by her father, Merritt Martin, 
of Tecumseh; three daughters, Irene and Betty at home, and Mrs. Gertrude 
Larmer, of Sault Lake City, Utah; a son, Edwin, at home; two sisters, Mrs. 
Melvin Reed of Tecumseh and Mrs. Grace Knight, of Clinton.
