The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 7, 2006
Janice Elizabeth Crane, Ionia, age 72, passed away on April 5, 2006.  She was 
born December 6, 1933 in Ronald Township the daughter of Charles and Blanche 
(Childs) Crane.  Janice worked at Fidelity Loan Co. for 18 years and retired 
from the Department of Corrections after 21 years of service. She lived her 
entire life in Ionia County, was a graduate of Ionia High School Class of 1950 
and enjoyed crossword puzzles, dogs and gardening. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Crane.  Surviving 
are a nephew Roland (Pat) Crane of Midland; Friends and caretaker Donald 
(Sandra) Badder of Ionia and their extended family; several great nieces and 
nephews.

The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Ken Harger, at 3 p.m., 
Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth St., Orleans. 
Interment will be in Orleans Cemetery. The family will receive friend 2 p.m. 
until the service time at the church.  Memorial Contributions may be made to 
the Ionia Co. Animal Shelter in memory of Janice E. Crane.
