Mrs. Crane died Friday evening after an illness of two weeks. She recently celebrated her 96th birthday anniversary. She was born in Yates township, Orleans county, New York, February 01, 1842, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Breed. December 18, 1862 she was married to Harrison Crane at Auburn, New York, and the couple came to Orleans, Michigan in 1875, settling on what is now a part of the present farm. Harrison Crane died November 24, 1924. Surviving her are two sons, Warren H. and Floyd T. Crane, two half-brothers, Warren and Wesley Breed, and a cousin, John Chaffee. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the home with the Rev. Glenn Weimer of the Congregational church of Belding officiating. Burial was in the Green cemetery. Pallbearers were Clark Palmer, Frank Hale, Charles Graff, Frank Hill, Al Sherwood, and Allen Fellers.
