She was born March 1, 1936, in Clarksville, the daughter of Paul and Miama Sommers Kauffman. She attended Pleasant Valley Elementary School and Lake Odessa High School She married Clifford Craven on October 28, 1956, in Alto. He survives. She was employed at Keebler Co. for more than 30 years and was a member of the Welcome Corners United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Dendel, Delwin and Delbert, all of Freeport; four daughters, Wanita Huizenga of Middleville, Rosemary Chase of Hastings, and Wanda Allerding and Lois Craven, both of Freeport; and 13 grandchildren. Also, four brothers, Orton of Goshen, Ind., Verlin of Cascade, and Dana and Loren, both of Clarksville; four sisters, Mary Schrock of Elkhart, Ind.; Iva Geiser of Apple Creek, Ohio, Esta Ott of Sturgis, and Rozella Hoffman of Grandville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary Grace Brethren Church of Alto, with the Rev. Carl Litchfield, the Rev. Mick Funderbur, and Coach Floyd Eby officiating. Burial will be in Bowne Mennonite Cemetery, Alto. The family will be at the Koops Funeral Chapel - Lake Odessa Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Welcome Corners United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home.
