Sonja Yvonne Crawford, 71, of Lyons passed away March 11, 2010.  She was born
Feb. 9, 1939, in St. John’s, the daughter of Leo and Arilla (Bennett) Stevens. 
She married David Crawford Oct. 19, 1957, in Ionia.  Sonja worked as a
supervisor of the Michigan Dept. of Treasury.  She attended Lyons Baptist
Church.  Sonja loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her
grandchildren.

Sonja is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, David Crawford of Lyons;
son Jeff (Teresa) Crawford of Morrice; daughters Cindy (Richard) Billips of
Lyons, Pat (Dan) Ling of Laingsburg, Rachel (Matt) Snyder of New Haven, and Nora
(Steve) Gathman of Holt; 10 grandchildren Buck, Meagan, Clay, Jake, Emily,
Lucas, Sarah, Olivia, Grace and Grant; brothers Victor (Joan) Stevens of Boyne
City, Ernest Stevens of Muir, and Eric (Carol) Stevens of Manistique; and sister
Juanita (Buddy) Blaisdell of Flushing.  She was preceded in death by her
brother, Bruce Stevens.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday at Lake Funeral Home in Muir
with Pastor Darren Tharp officiating.  Interment at Lyons Cemetery.  The family
will receive friends and relatives Wednesday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday prior
to the service at the funeral home.
