Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Mar 1934

George W. Crawford, 86 years old, died at the home of his Guy Crawford, in
Lansing, Friday morning at 10 o’clock.  Mr. Crawford came to Ionia when a young
man from Birmingham.  He has been in business here as a wagon maker, most of his
life, living in South Ionia.  After the death of his wife a year ago, he closed
his home and has been living with his son in Lansing.  He leaves three sons,
Guy, Roy and Glenn.  Funeral services will be held from the Estes-Leadley
funeral home, 325 West Washtenaw street, Lansing, Saturday afternoon at 2:30,
March 17.  Rev. Fitch, of the Baptist church of Ionia, will conduct the service.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery.]
