John R. Credit, 83, passed away Saturday morning at the home of Isabel Burch,
north of the city, where he had lived for 35 years.  He was born in Ionia county
June 30, 1873.  He formerly lived in this city and was employed here part of the
time by the city.

He is survived by a step-sister, Mrs. Georgia Lang, of Samoa, Calif.  Funeral
services were held Tuesday at 1 o’clock at Brown-Teman Funeral Home in
Greenville, with Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating and burial was in Otisco cemetery.
