Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Feb 1956

Mrs. Ella Creer, 76, resident of Saranac, was found dead in bed at 7:30 a.m.
Wednesday by a neighbor.

Mrs. Creer, who lived at 5354 Riverside Drive at Saranac, was found by Freida
White, a neighbor.  She told Sheriff Peter Van Vleck and Coroner Wallace H.
Jackson of Ionia she had seen Mrs. Creer get coal late Tuesday afternoon but
that her house was dark at 7 p.m. that evening.

Coroner Jackson said Mrs. Creer apparently died of a heart attack.  The body was
removed to the Roth Funeral home at Lowell.  Coroner Jackson said she had been
dead since early Tuesday evening.
