The funeral services will be conducted from the residence tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at two o’clock, Rev. Dinsmore, pastor of the Weslyn church, officiating. Burial will be made in Baptist cemetery, near Lake Odessa. Miss Almira Holmes was born in the state of Pennsylvania in 1844 and came to Michigan with her parents, when a young girl, settling in Sebewa township. She was married to Mr. Creighton 58 years ago and moved on the farm where she passed away. She was a member of the Weslyn church, being a devoted christian worker until her illness caused her to give up the work. Besides the husband she is survived by eight sons, Charles Creighton, of Elkart, Ind., George Creighton, of Lansing; Chester Creighton, of Rosie, Minn., Dan, Sam and Arthur Creighton, of Sebewa township, and Ralph Creighton, at home. There are also five sisters and two brothers living.
