Barbara Jean Creighton, 90, of Stanton, formerly of Six Lakes passed away 
Sunday November 2, 2014 at home under the loving care of her family and 
Spectrum Health Hospice.  Barbara was born on April 8, 1924 in Grand Rapids, 
the daughter of Fred Stratton and Iva (Graves). 

She had retired from General Motors in 1972.  She enjoyed fishing; tractor 
pulls and was a good cook.  Barbara was married on October 8, 1971 in 
Greenville to Fred Creighton. 

She is loved and survived by her husband Fred and their children; Susie and Bob 
McKay of Newaygo, Gary and Ranae Nelson, Beverly Loding all of Gowen, Bonnie 
and Dave Frisbie of Belding, Ronnie Creighton of Smithville, TN, Penny Jesko of 
Big Rapids, Michael and Ardith Creighton of Stanwood, Chuck Creighton of 
Greenville, 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  She was preceded 
in death by her parents, 18 brothers and sisters, her first husband Enghardt 
Nelson, a daughter Patsy Ann, son in law Wayne and a grandson Tommy Frisbie. 

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Feuerstein funeral Home, 
Belding with Pastor Daniel Pflug of Spectrum Health Hospice officiating.  
Committal prayers will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa, Michigan.  
Visitation will be one hour before the service. Memorials may be given to 
Spectrum health Hospice.
