Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday February 8, 1945

MRS. CREIGHTON FUNERAL FRIDAY
Mrs.Esther McNeil Creighton, 42, died at her home in Sebewa, Wednesday morning 
of last week following a long period of ill health.

She was born August 14, 1903, in Sebewa, and was married to Arthur Creighton at 
Ionia, December 20, 1920.

Surviving beside the husband are three sons Pvt. Kenneth Carl at an army 
hospital at Atterbury Ind., Frederick and Rex at home, her father, Milo McNeil 
at Portland; a sister Mrs.LaVerne VanHouten in Odessa township; a brother 
Clarence McNeil in Lansing a half-sister Mrs.Jessie Fuller in California, and 
one grandchild.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Wortley & Baine Chapel with 
the Rev. Benson of Sunfield officiating. Burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
