Nov. 27, 1991 RUSSELL E CREVIER BELDING- Russell E. Crevier, 75, of 122 E. Mary Street, Belding died Tuesday at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. He was born February 13, 1916, in Muskegon, the son of Oscar and Alice Morin Crevier. He was a refrigerator engineer with Norge-Borg-Warner in Muskegon for 28 years. He retired from Ionia County Department of Social Services in 1985. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Belding and a former Golden glove boxer in Muskegon. He married the former Dorothy Mosher on March 23, 1935 in Muskegon. He is survived by his wife; four daughters; Dawn Drent of Belding, Deborah Fisher of Livonia, Diane Turk of Ft. Devens, Mass., and Denise Bennett of Byron, Illinois; his son Russell R. of Ionia; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and his sister Evelyn Kowalski of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church Belding, with the Rev. George Darling officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will be at the Johnson Funeral Home of Belding from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m.. A memorial had been established for St. Joseph Catholic Church School, in care of the funeral home.
