Gilbert Kohler officiating. Miss Crispin died in Ionia Friday evening. Miss Crispin was born February 21, 1881 and graduated from Ionia high school as salutatorian. After graduation, she attended a school of music and taught piano and pipe organ to students in the Ionia area. She was organist at First Baptist church 50 years, and was also the choir director. She was the daughter of Jonathan Ralph and Caroline Crispin. Surviving are a nephew, John W. Crispin, Jr., and family of Ann Arbor; and grand-niece, Betty Ann Baumeister of Ortonville. A memorial fund has been established for First Baptist Church.
