March 18, 2016 DELORIS "DEE" K. CRISSMAN Deloris "Dee" K. Crissman, 74, of Belding passed away Wednesday evening, March 16, 2016 at home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum hospice. Dee was born on Dec. 22, 1941 in Belding, the daughter of Kenneth A. and Emma M.F. (Bookey) Byrne. Dee graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1960. She was a receptionist at Belding Chiropractic Life Center for over 20 years, retiring in October 2007. She was a past member of the Grand Valley Carving Club. Dee had a big love of her family and her home especially her flower garden and being outdoors. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking and was possibly the world's best cookie maker. Dee was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. Dee married Robert Crissman on April 14, 1962 in Cedar Springs. She is loved and survived by her husband Robert; their son, Robert (Kelly) Crissman of Fenwick; grandchildren, Aubrie and Austin; sisters, Geraldine Messecar of Gowen, Joann Russell of Belding, Rita (Roger) Gotwalt of Grattan, Margaret (Irving) Bradley of Greenville; brothers, Kenneth Byrne of Belding, Eugene (Rosie) Byrne of Belding, Gary (Sherry) Byrne and John (Janice) Byrne, all of Greenville; and a sister-in-law, Glenna Byrne of Saranac. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Austin and Bernice Byrne, John and Maude Bookey; brother, Raymond Byrne; brother-in-laws, Gerald Dietz, Donald Brown, Lyle Russell and Larry Messecar and a sister-in-law, Nancy Byrne. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, march 20, 2016 at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Shane Prewitt officiating. Private committal prayers will be in Greene Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 6 PM Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorials may be given to Shiloh Community Church or Spectrum Hospice.
