Ionia Standard, 7 Mar 1890

Silas Croel, of Ionia township, died on Tuesday, at the age of 72 years.  He
sustained a fall about three weeks ago, and received a serious injury about the
right hip, and being otherwise feeble, death resulted.  He was a gentleman
highly respected in the community in which he lived.  Funeral took place from
the Croel school house yesterday.  Interment was in the Tuttle cemetery.
