The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Monday, June 4, 1917

Frank S. Croel, aged 41, died on Sunday at Wahjameega.  The remains are 
expected Tuesday morning, and will be taken to the home of his father, Henry 
C. Croel, near Muir.  Funeral Wednesday at 2 o’clock.  He also leaves five 
sisters, Mrs. Lula Snyder, who lives at home, Mrs. Harry Knapp, Mrs. Jerry. C. 
Hayes of Detroit, Mrs. Glenn Holmes of Lansing and another sister in Detroit.
