Lyons – George Croel, 77, of route 1 died suddenly Thursday at 10:30 p.m.  Mr. 
Croel was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Croel.  He married Louetta Taft 
October 23, 1901 and they have spent their entire married life in Ionia 
county.  They celebrated their wedding anniversary in 1951.

Survivors are his wife, Louetta, two sons, Clyde of Williamston, and Ray of 
Lyons and one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Heauser of Lyons.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at the LeValley church at 2 
o’clock.  The body is at Beatty funeral home in Clarksville until time for the 
funeral.  Burial will be at Tuttle cemetery.
