                             MRS. LUETTA CROEL

LYONS - Mrs. Luetta Croel, 85, died Wednesday morning at Sparrow Hospital in 
Lansing.

Born July 14, 1882 in Ionia Township, she was the daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Frank 
Taft and lived all her life in the Gorham district. She was married to George 
Croel, October 23, 1901 and he preceded her in death.

She attended the Badder school and Ionia High School and was a member of 
LeValley Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Ray Croel of Lyons, Clyde Croel of Williamston; one 
daughter,Mrs.Glenn Haluser of Fountain City, Wis., eight grandchildren, 14 
great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs.Leolyn Schworer and Mrs.Reva Callow 
Elder of Ionia, and Mrs.John Beattie of Clarksville.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 pm. at the Shaw-Rivett-Hull Funeral Home 
in Muir. Interment will be in Tuttle Cemetery.
