Killed at Crossing.
Ionia, Mich., Nov 30.- Two Misses Taft and Miss Jessie Croel, sixteen year old
girls all of Orange township, met with a fatal accident at the big cut west of
Lyons this evening. The three were driving home from school at Lyons when they
were struck by a Detroit, Lansing and Northern train. Both of the Taft sisters
were instantly killed and Miss Croel was dangerously injured, the horse was
killed and the vehicle wrecked.
