Ionia Sentinel Standard, June 1996

Ionia – Mrs. Cleobelle Delores Cronk, 76, of Ionia, died Sunday, June 23, 
1996.  Cronk was born on March 25, 1920, in Ionia, the daughter of Louis and 
Mary (Underhill) Morrison.

She married Francis Cronk on June 30, 1934.  She was a member of the First 
Baptist Church in Ionia and enjoyed birds and flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Francis; three sons: Francis Jr. (Judy) Cronk, 
of Ionia, Richard (Sara) Cronk, of Ionia, and Robert (Bonnie) Cronk, of 
Clarksville; two daughters: Beverly (Richard) Hodgkins and Wanda (Jerry) 
Marcussen, both of Ionia; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; three 
brothers: John (Eileen) Morrison, Earl (Agnes) Morrison, and Floyd Morrison; 
and sister-in-law Helen Morrison.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Glen and John; two granddaughters: Kacee 
and Heather; great-grandson Neil; brother Paul Morrison; and sister Lucille 
Wooters.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Myers Memorial Chapel, in 
Ionia, with Rev. James Bennett of the First Baptist Church officiating.  
Interment will be in Balcom Cemetery.  Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Mail Street Chapel of the Myers 
Memorial Chapel.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Commission on 
Aging, Respite Program or the First Baptist Church, Youth Camp.
