Widow of Manley Cronkrite Dies at Danby Home 
Mrs. Clara Cronkrite, widow of Manley Cronkrite, died at her home in Danby 
township, Tuesday, a few hours after a severe stroke. Funeral services will be 
held there Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, and burial will be in Danby cemetery. 
Mrs. Cronkrite had been ill for six years, having suffered her first stroke at 
that time. Deceased maiden name was Richardson.  
One daughter, Mrs. Fred Hill, survives and there is a son, Ray Jessup of Sunfield, 
by a previous marriage. There are three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 
Mrs. Tom Burns and Mrs. Sadie Bascom of Sunfield, are sisters.
