Lake Odessa Wave
          MARTHA J. CROSBY
   LAKE ODESSA --  Martha J. Crosby, 70, Route 2, Clarksville Road, Lake Odessa,
died Monday morning at Pennock Hospital where she was a patient for two weeks.
   She was born Dec. 24, 1909 in Berrien County to Jacob and Lydia Lingle
Ochenryder.  She attended Buchanan Public Schools and married Martin McKoven, 
who preceded her in death in 1957.
   She married Walter Crosby on Jan. 31, 1959 in Dewitt and lived in the Lansing
area most of her life, moving to Lake Odessa in 1959.
   She attended the Wesleyan Church in Clarksville.
   She is survived by her husband, Walter;  three stepsons and two step daughters,
Dawn Crosby of Bushwell, Fla., Lawrence Crosby of Hastings, Ronald Crosby, of 
Mulliken, Margie Van Asperen of Barker, N.Y., Janet Moonedy of Lake Odessa;  
one sister, Katherine McGowan of Buchanan, 14 step-grandchildren and seven 
step-great grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Pickenso-Koops Chapel in Lake
Odessa with the Rev. Arthur Ruder, of the Wesleyan Church in Clarksville, officiating.
   Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.
