Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday June 17, 1948

OBITUARY
William Crosby, born October 20, 1866 at London, Middlesex Co., England, and 
passed away June 9, 1948 at the house of his son Walter Crosby at the age of 82 
years, 7 months and 19 days.

He was united in marriage to Elenor Jones  February 27, 1885 at L.Lanelly, South 
Wales. To this union were born ten children, Jane, Elizabeth, Ada, Mary, William 
Albert, George, Joseph, Robert and Walter.

Surviving him are 7 children, 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife who passed away December 21, 1937 at Lake 
Odessa, Jane at Pontypridd, Wales, Ada at Lake Odessa and William at Detroit.

He came to the United States in 1893 and resided in Ionia county until he 
retired about three years ago and took up his residence with is son, Walter.
