Mrs. Theo Marie Crosby, 45, of FRD 2, Lake Odessa, died unexpectedly at her 
home and was found dead in bed by her husband, Walter, about 10:00 a.m. Sunday 
forenoon.  Coroner Dale Kauffman was called and death was believed to have 
occurred about midnight or shortly after she retired.  

Born September 18, 1912, in Ionia county, she was the daughter of William and 
Jessie (Darby) Dailey, and had lived most of her life in this area.  

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas VanAsperen, of 
Lake Odessa, and Janet, at home; three sons, Donald of Ionia, Lawrence, of 
Fort Benning, Georgia, and Ronald, at home; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Murphy, 
of Lansing; two brothers, Leon Dailey of Lansing, and Bernard of Lake Odessa; 
her father, William Dailey, of Lake Odessa, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pickens Funeral 
Chapel, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.  Rev. Delores Lobdell officiated.
