Mrs. Genevieve Crosby, 75, of 799 Riverside drive, Portland, died August 14 at 
her home after an extended illness.  She was born August 5, 1896, in Grand 
Rapids.  Prior to moving to Portland five years ago she and her husband owned 
and operated a farm west of Portland.  She was a member of Portland grange.

Survivors include her husband, Albert of Portland; daughter, Mrs. Helen J. 
Jameson of Portland; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two 
brothers, Alfred and Robert Moore of Belding; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Brown 
of Fenwick, Mrs. Dulcie Tingley of Belding and Mrs. Helen Lanzing of LaVerne, 
Calif.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Neller funeral home in 
Portland.  Officiating will be Rev. Maurice Christensen and interment will be 
at Portland cemetery.  Bearers will be Guy Fisher, Lewis Jones, John Beckett, 
James Lanz, Harold Davis and Andrew Christensen.
