Mrs. Della Cross, 85, lifelong resident of Sebewa township died at 5 a.m. 
Tuesday at the home of her son, Ralph Cross in Portland.  She was born 
September 30, 1871 in Sebewa township and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Charles Aves.

Surviving are four sons, Ray, Allen, Howard and Ralph, all of Portland; a 
daughter, Mrs. Reva Clark of Hastings; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren 
and one brother, Charles Aves of Sebewa.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Mapes 
funeral home in Sunfield with the Rev. Duane McNeil of Sebewa Baptist church 
officiating.  Burial will be in East Sebewa cemetery.
